In anticipation of the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens Nixon took advantage of the SDCC hype to announce their officially licensed line of Star Wars watches.
Nixon has designed the first two, called Ranger Imperial Pilot Black and Ranger Stormtrooper White, with subtle and sleek elements so they can be paired with any attire.
The watch face resembles body armor and features a small Imperial symbol in place of the twelve marker. The back is etched with the iconic Stormtrooper and Pilot helmets along with quotes “move along” on the white version and “crash and burn” on the black version. Every detail was considered including the watch hands which are inspired by the helmet’s ventilation system.
Just gorgeous. Take a look at the watches up close along with a teaser video after the break.
Starting in September the line expands with four more pieces: Dark Side: Stormtrooper, Imperial Pilot, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett. Pricing has not yet been announced for those pieces, but the watches pictured here can be purchased on Nixon’s website for $375 until July 12, 2015.
