There is so much here to love, it seems like a steal to get either the R2D2 or Clone Trooper watch for $20. First you have the Lego themed watch to keep track of just how many hours Lego Star Wars you are playing. The plastic bands are Lego themed and extra links are included. The character you choose is not only pictured on the face of the watch, but you get a mini figure to match as well.

This isn’t just for kids. If you have played the game you know it is actually a lot more amusing than you may imagine.

While the mini-figs are cool the watches are a bit of a disappointment. They look pretty cheap and, being Lego, I assumed there would be more studs for building all sorts of delicate accessories on top.

And with the muli-colored band, would you really where these anywhere other than the comic book con?

I hear you Matthew. I can only assume that the manufacturers are relying on the formidable Lego/Star Wars tag team to hypnotize geeky consumers.
