
I’ve never wanted to get holes in my ear lobes big enough to plug until I saw these custom pieces by Marc Short. I’m still not taking the plunge (which is just as well since these aren’t for sale) but his designs are definitely the coolest and most stylish plugs I’ve seen. He’s got designs including Pokeballs, Mario and Luigi, Pac-Man, Donkey King (with neat-o bases that look like wooden barrels), and more.

Apparently Mario’s been working a double shift in video game world, and his secret identity as Master Chief in Halo is now revealed thanks to this tattoo. If he didn’t have to take the helmet off to perfect his aim, we would have never figured this out. Who knew he could suck in his pudge so effectively to fit into that armor?
