Takayas Custom Jewelry specializes in crafting custom wedding and engagement rings for gamers and geeks. About a year ago, they made a gorgeous Kingdom Hearts themed-ring that featured a design inspired by the Oathkeeper Keyblade. Takayas recently made another Kingdom Hearts ring for a client that also featured an Oathkeeper-inspired design, but the center stone setting on this ring is based on a Paopu Fruit. Back in July, Takayas Custom Jewelry sent us info about a custom Final Fantasy XIII-2 Gunblade wedding band that they made for a client. This new version is inspired by that ring, but is based on the pattern from the blade rather than the guard. They also incorporated a rabbit on the inside of the band instead of the Cactuars that were hidden on the inside of the previous ring. As always, the final product is gorgeous. Take a closer look below. [click to continue…]
Diehard Final Fantasy VII fans will appreciate this custom Sephiroth engagement ring from Takayas. The design is pretty unique: it features an emerald as the center stone, and its flanked by Masamune on one side and Sephiroth’s wing on the other.
Here’s what Takayas had to say about the ring: [click to continue…]
The Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball crossover you’ve always dreamed of has extended beyond fan fiction into custom engagement rings thanks to Takayas. The design features Sailor Uranus’ Sailor Scout symbol on each side of the sapphire heart container with the Four-Star Dragon Ball in the center of each symbol.
David and Bryn knew they wanted a heart container in place of a traditional center stone, but they also wanted to find a way to add a Sailor Uranus symbol and Four-Star Dragonball into the design without crowding the ring too much.
Takayas framed the heart container on either side with the Sailor Uranus sample image symbol they provided. His initial design plan was to place the Dragonball in the ring’s under gallery, but they came up with the idea to incorporate the four star Dragonball in the center of each symbol which worked out perfectly.
Did she say yes? Of course she did! Who wouldn’t? Check out more pictures of the ring below. [click to continue…]
Once again, Takaya’s Custom Jewelry has tipped us to a new custom ring and we love it. Commissioned by a League of Legends fan, this platinum ring’s main design is based on Heartseeker Ashe’s bow and arrow. The setting represents Poro horns, but they’re more rounded to flow with the rest of the ring.
I think the sapphire looks gorgeous in this setting. I’m guessing the person who receives it will be very happy. Check out more pics below. [click to continue…]
I’m always happy when I get to talk about a piece by Takayas Custom Jewelry, and this Final Fantasy XIII-2 men’s wedding band is no exception. Inspired by Lightning’s Gunblade, this 14K white and yellow gold band also has some cleverly hidden Cactuars on the inside of the band as a fun addition.

It’s always fun when we have a new story and ring from Takayas Custom Jewelry and, if you’re a Sailor Moon fan, you’re going to really love this one.
Virgilio and Lauren are anime fans and cosplayers, so when they got engaged it was an opportunity to incorporate their interests into something unique.
When Virgilio asked Lauren to be his girlfriend, he did it with a Legend of Zelda-inspired necklace. When he proposed, they were at Anime Expo in Zelda cosplay—but the ring was inspired by something even closer to Lauren’s heart: Sailor Chibi Moon.
Takayas created this 14k rose gold ring with a pink tourmaline center stone and two accent rubies. They also include a subtle nod to Chibiusa’s signature hair bun clips and even a little 18k gold tiara.
Everything about both this ring and the couple makes me smile. Check out more pics below. [click to continue…]
If a dream is a wish your heart makes, them I’m going to be dreaming about having a ring like this Tangled-inspired amethyst sunburst engagement ring by Takayas Custom Jewelry.
Lawrence and Janina love Disney films, so Lawrence asked Takayas to make a Rapunzel-inspired ring because Janina also loves the color purple (Rapunzel’s dress the Royal Flag of Corona are purple in Tangled).
The amethyst centerpiece is set in the Sun Crest symbol while the pattern on the band is reminiscent of the pattern on lanterns in the movie. Plus, “My New Dream” is engraved on the inside of the band.
The best part of this whole story is how Lawrence proposed. Both he and Janina practice martial arts, so he proposed right after she passed her black belt test. The video is available below, and it’s heart-meltingly sweet. [click to continue…]
I always enjoy showing off one of Takayas’ custom rings because they’re so gorgeous and cleverly designed. That’s definitely the case with this custom Hylian Shield and Master Sword wedding ring set Takayas made for Keanan when he decided to propose to his girlfriend Kristina.
The Hylian Shield engagement ring is 14K white gold and features an accent ruby, emerald, and sapphire on either side of the shield centerpiece. Takayas also added 14K yellow gold to the Wingcrest accents.
The Master Sword’s diamond shape was made with beauty and safety in mind. By splitting the band, Takayas made sure the sword tip wouldn’t poke her finger or end up bent against the shield with repeated wear. On top of that, the back of the shield has a groove for the sword to fit into.
Indeed, the way the Hylian Shield engagement ring interlocks with the Master Sword wedding ring is particularly cool with this set. You can check out the rings individually below.
