Google has revealed details about their augmented reality glasses dubbed “Project Glass”, which are currently in development. Reports have it that the glasses will be capable of establishing 3G or 4G wireless connections, providing wearers with real-time information such as weather and transit information, as well as the ability to send messages, take photos, and display the location of nearby friends.
Based on the fact that the glasses still in the concept stage, noting is set in stone. The project can move in several different directions and an official release date is still a long way off. Still, we are officially excited.
