The game of rock-paper-scissors has been around for far too long without being updated. Adding Spock and lizard as valid entries opens the whole game up, but it is only fun if everyone knows the rules. Just think of yourself as the new ambassador of the game when you wear this shirt that shows all the interconnected relationships. My favorite has to be that paper disproves Spock.

I think I found out a way to remember the rules. These rules are based on the fact that the person knows how to play rock paper scissors. These are the memory helpers.
For scissors,
-Scissors cuts lizard, due to a lizards being an animal with weak skin,
-Scissors are crushed by Spock, because a Spock can destroy an imanimate strong object, (yes, for all the Star Trek lovers out there, I know that this fact might be wrong)
For Paper,
-Paper is eaten by lizard, because paper is edible (yes, it is)
-Paper disproves Spock, because you can write on paper, but not a Spock (Yes, I know that that is the dummesst reason for a paper beating Spock)
For Rock,
-Rock can crush lizard, because a lizard is tiny
-Rock can be vaporized by Spock, because Spock can vaporize an inanimate strong object
And last but not least,
A lizard can poison a Spock, because a lizard isn’t inanimate object and lizards have poison.
These are the rules for people that know how to play rock paper scissors, but not rock paper scissors lizard Spock.
