Color Changing Scarf: Like Hypercolor, Only Not as Lame

Remember those Hypercolor shirts that would change color when exposed to heat? Ha Ha…yeah, those were kind of lame. However, that is not the case with this Color Changing Scarf from designer Yasuyuki Machida. The scarf features a “high-tech” yarn that changes color when exposed to both cold and heat. Available in both green to yellow or gray to white versions.

I don’t remember those shirts, actually… But this scarf looks awesome! It would look great even without the color-changing, I love the green and yellow, but I bet it’s fascinating to watch “in action”…
(Then again, $100 for a scarf… uhm, no thanks.)
Hypercolor shirts were lame!? That is like saying leg warmers were lame and that is just not true
Hypercolor shirts got messed up after only a few trips to the washing machine as I recall. That is enough to qualify them as lame. And yes, leg warmers were lame too - but sweatshirts worn off the shoulder and half shirts ruled!
