To promote the launch of their iPad-only magazine Cosmo For Guys with a bit of viral marketing, Hearst fitted a woman with an iPad helmet and told her to walk around NYC in the hope that someone would touch her face.
Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
â€œThe concept and analogy here is to show a guy â€˜getting inside a girlâ€™s headâ€™ and sort of â€˜reading her mindâ€™ by flipping through the magazine pages on the iPad. The reason for that is: it is the first magazine for men that is written by women, so for the first time women are letting guys in on what they think,â€ says the viralâ€™s Creative Director Michael Krivicka.
As you will see after the break, only one man was brave enough to try it out.
