I have feelings about Disneyland, like I’ve been tempted to try to hide at park closing so I could live there, but it never occurred to me to wear the theme park as a costume! Rob Cockerham used basic supplies like PVC piping, foam, and newspaper to craft this crazy impressive wearable map. He planned carefully to make sure he wore the map at an angle so everyone is able to view it, and he included tons of landmarks. It’s got Star Tours, the Matterhorn, the spinning teacups, even Toontown! I want to live on this costume, is that weird?
Check out a video and some in progress shots and close ups after the break.
Just as fun as drooling over the design is seeing how it all came together. Cockerham has laid out all the details on his blog.
