Be Seen With This HALO Zero Messenger Bag

Nighttime safety is serious business. If you’re going to be walking or bicycling in the dark – even in relatively well lit areas – you want to make sure you can be seen by people driving cars and motorcycles. HALO Belt Company has designed a bag that serves safety and is also stylish and functional.

The urban messenger bag is meant to be worn as a backpack. It stands apart from the crowd with an embedded LED fiber optic strip that’s attached with velcro. The light comes in red, green, yellow, or blue and has three modes: strobe, flash, and solid. It’s powered by two CR2025 batteries and lasts 20 hours on solid mode.

The HALO Belt Company has partnered with Rickshaw Bagworks on this project, and the bags are currently available on Kickstarter. You just have to pledge $128 to claim yours (estimated delivery is May 2013 if funding is successful).

Check out a couple more pics and watch a video after the break.
