The Industry Inspired Palace Watch

This Palace Watch by Jean Dunand draws from eclectic influences such as the Eiffel Tower, “Milwaukee Mile” racing circuit and Charlie Chaplin’s film “Modern Times” and combines them into a watch reflecting the fruits of the Industrial Revolution. Among its 703 parts are 53 jewels, a one-minute flying Tourbillon, a 72 hour power reserve and a GMT indicator for a second time zone all housed in a 49mm x 48mm titanium case. Since the watch has no price listed and a design inspired by something, chances are it’s absurdly expensive.
