Ashley Eckstein wanted to do something different and memorable for Valentine’s Day this year. She adores the typography posters that say things like “you are the macaroni to my cheese”, and she knew the the style could transfer to geeky subjects. So, she worked with fellow fangirl Anne Convery to design fun t-shirts for Her Universe featuring quotes from your favorite fandoms.
She and Convery worked within Star Wars, Star Trek, and Doctor Who and created three t-shirts all about love just in time for the upcoming holiday. It’s a fun idea, and I love the clever pairings they used such as “You Are The Captain To My Starship” and “You Are The Clone To My Trooper.” These t-shirts would make fantastic gifts! I’d certainly be happy to receive any (or all) of them.
