This Gryffindor school robe isn’t a cheap replica you might wear on Halloween—it’s for hardcore fans like this guy who demand the best.
The robe was made directly from the costume used in the film with all of the extra details—including a hidden wand pocket. Available with your choice of Gryffindor or Slytherin house crests for $149.
The Harry Potter set also includes exact replicas of the Hogwarts sweater and tie ($85), the school skirt ($75) and Hermione’s Yule Ball gown ($325). Check out the uniforms after the break.
100% hand-knitted wool Mario and Lugi sweaters from Nintendo icon Shigesato Itoi. It’s even officially licensed.
Little pricey though—I think I would rather try my hand at knitting this despite the fact that  it goes far beyond even my nerdiness threshold.

This year, make a retro Halloween fashion statement with a lavender sweater dress covered with Pterodactyls rendered in 8-bit Nintendo quality. If I was out trick-or-treating and saw someone open a door wearing this sweater, I’d expect to get a bag full of Giggles cookies, Bonkers candy, and Tab… I miss you Giggles, I really do.

As absurd as these head hoods are, the idea is actually pretty clever. As you can see from the images above, a head is printed on the side of each hood to achieve a truly unique look. There are 8 styles to choose from ranging from Audrey Hepburn to a Gorilla. Hilarious.

Designed by Ebru Kurbak and Mahir M. Yavuz, the “News Knitter” is a data visualization project that starts as news gathered from the Internet. The information is then transformed into a random pattern and knitted onto a sweater. Basically, It is just as crazy as a Cosby sweater, but it is a lot cooler. Too bad it is only a design project and not an actual product. Additional images are available after the break.
