Clearly, this is the movie Joss Whedon should have made.

So you think you’re a big deal? Well, that Anchorman shirt you’re wearing has been one-upped. I’m kinda amazing. Though, I will admit you have a thick, luxurious mustache.

Maybe the buzz about The Hunger Games nail polish is having an effect. OPI has developed a collection of superheroic shades for The Amazing Spider-Man. This line will be released in May so you’ll have plenty of time to try them out before the movie release in July. I, for one, hope this trend continues; I’m far more interested in nail polish if it has geeky themes.

Just days after the release of new Spider-Man costumes comes another offering which gives us a good look at Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man—a villain that has been kept mostly under wraps in the trailers thus far. Let me direct your attention to these badass Spider-Man and Venom/Calvin and Hobbes mashups by ninjaink. There are four shirts in the series, and you’ll notice that a couple of the designs reproduce the covers of Calvin and Hobbes collections. We love those the most.

Check out the entire series after the break.

As you will see in the video after the break, Sam Rami originally had something a little more organic (and true to the comic books) in mind when it came to the visage of the Green Goblin in the 2002 Spider-Man film.

So why did Rami end up going with the mask instead of this awesome makeup? Hard to say without hearing it from the man himself, but Willem Dafoe’s dialogue would have been better served in the makeup than it was behind that mask.

When you get Spider-Man, Batman and Iron Man together in the same place, remember that a dance rave can break out any any time—regardless of how disturbing or inappropriate it is.

Check out the video after the break to see what I mean.
