If socks with capes isn’t your thing, perhaps you would prefer these TMNT ankle socks. You could wear them in identical pairs, but I say it’s best to mix and match them into two turtle teams.

These caped superhero socks bring me an enormous amount of joy. Choose from Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman versions.

But that’s not all. 80s Tees also has smaller DC Comics socks and TMNT socks in stock! Check out more pics after the break.

Last week we brought you some awesomely sexy Portal 2 long fall socks, and this week we are following it up with a less sexy buy no less awesome trio of Minecraft-themed socks. Score all 3 designs in a boxed set for around $40.

In Portal, Long Fall Boots ensure that test subjects survive long falls. As we’ve seen in the past, it’s not so much to protect the subject as it is to keep the expensive objects the people have in their arms safe. These socks won’t keep you fully protected despite the fact that the design matches that of the boots, so don’t go jumping off tall buildings to test them.

We’ve shown you knitting patterns for TARDIS socks in the past, but these versions from Ellen Botilda might have a slightly better design.

The pattern to knit a pair for yourself is available for free (Google Docs), though we wish the BBC would just sell something similar ready-made for the rest of us.

What geek guy could resist a geek girl wearing knee-high socks explaining what kind of geek she is? It’s also available in men’s sizes, which seems far from sexy. Still, team pride and all that you know?

These shark bite socks are a bloody upgrade to the original versions. Clearly, they hunger for the ankles of scantily clad, tattooed women.

While I’m lucky enough to be able to have blue hair and rock my geeky tees on the daily, there are times you can’t represent your geek at the office.

Until now.

Diesel Sweeties has these awesome D20 socks that allow you to flash your D&D geek cred in a subtle but definite way.

If you are handy with needles and thread, you can use the pattern on whittylitteknitter to craft your own pair of TARDIS socks for the winter.

Unfortunately the socks aren’t going to be bigger on the inside than they are on the outside, so you won’t be able to fit your whole body in there when you really want to get cozy. For that you will need the TARDIS dress.
