Converse Japan’s 25th anniversary Super Mario Chucks were a big hit last year, and now they plan to bring the theme to their One Star line with the One Star Super Mario Bros. Ox. I can’t say I’ve ever been a fan of One Stars—but these do look pretty sweet.
The sneakers will be available in black and white leather versions starting at the end of March for ¥12,600, or approximately $164 USD. No word yet on whether there will be a release in the US.

They feature many of the recognizable highlights: the Doctor’s time lord watch, Daleks, a bow tie, references to Bad Wolf, and more. Pair them with your TARDIS dress or just with a pair of jeans. They’ll spark conversation either way.

Shoes aren’t the normal fare at MegaHobby EXPO, but these tennis shoes are special. Reebok has made just 500 pairs of of these sneakers with a tachikoma-inspired design from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Since the availability is so limited, shoes like this are meant to be collected, not worn—and the price will probably match that status. No word yet on when they’ll be released or how much they’ll cost.
