Marc & Louis Photography have created rather provocative series of images they call Dreaming of the Dark Side. They describe the project thusly:

The story is about a girl dreaming of the Darth Vader. You can see what happens when he doesn’t like a twi’lek lady flirting with him…

More images from the series are available after the break.

As a wanna-be photographer, I’m a fan of bags that fit everything and are still comfortable to carry. This bag is compact and easy to access. It’s like a portable cooler for your camera parts.

Features include:

  • Quick access top-loading camera compartment
  • Large zip around opening and customizable padded main compartment for organizing lenses, flash and other equipment
  • Iconic quick release buckle with integrated bottle opener
  • Velcro straps for mini tripod
  • EVA foam padded shoulder strap with cross-chest load stabilizer for increased rideability
  • Nylon 69 thread and waterproof urethane YKK zippers

Dylan Collard explores what it would be like if our favorite comic book heroes moved to Florida and spent more time worrying about their medication than fighting crime.

Here we see an aged Wonder Woman trying to keep up the payments on her invisible jet, even though they say she shouldn’t be flying with her poor eyesight.

When two photographers decided to get married, they asked their jewelry-makin’ friend to help create special wedding rings. What they ended up with is a pair of rings based on the Leica 50mm Summilux lens. The groom got the focusing ring while the bride got the aperture ring.

The jeweler even made a miniature Leica M3 that can be used to hold the rings (they slide onto the lens!).

The Urban Quiver bag combines the convenience of a slender bag with a clean pocket compartment with the manly feeling of a quiver. Of course, this version is loaded with awesome photographs, not arrows (unless you’re mounting a camera on an arrow).

Plus, the shape of the bag and the fact that the opening is facing the wearer makes theft of your expensive equipment less likely.

I went with a JPEG image, but you can rest assured that no flash was used. These camera lingo necklaces are perfect for photographers with style.

The varieties include JPEG with NEF and CR2 (Nikon and Canon’s respective RAW format file names) and the no-flash icon.

Check out these ladies snapped by photographer kn8e last weekend at Anime Conji 2011. They are sporting some awesome Final Fantasy XIII costumes, and the way the photo is handled really brings the characters to life.

If you are one of those adventurous photographers that’s always snowboarding and hanging off cliffs to get pictures of birds in a nest or whatever, you’ll probably love this Burton F-Stop backpack. It’s got plenty of pockets and compartments for your DSLR, cords and lenses and, because it’s a Burton bag, there is also a strap for mounting your snowboard or tripod.
