
This is proud moment for German hairdresser Elmar Weisser, who took top prize for the third time at the World Beard and Moustache Championship in Trondheim, Norway thanks to the addition of a moose and Norwegian flag hair sculpture.
The contest features 14 categories, including natural goatee, sideburns freestyle, Hungarian moustache and imperial partial beard.
Apparently, the Europeans have dominated the event in the past, but the US, which has hosted the event twice, is quickly becoming “the world’s new facial hair super power”. That’s right, soon other countries will tremble before our mighty hairiness. Larry McClure for President in 2012!
