krang

Take a knee. Halloween has a champion in the form of redditor guimancreative and his Krang cosplay.

Not only did he make this baby, but he’s went out for Halloween in New Orleans wearing it. Something tells me he’s going to have a lot of fun.

DIY Krang Hat

If you’re not fully committed to making an elaborate Krang from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume like this one, you can cheat and simply craft a Krang hat. Instructables user ashleyjlong made the hat for an art gallery project and then realized it would work well as part of a costume. All you need is pink fleece or an already-made pink fleece beanie, felt, black paint or yarn, glue, stuffing, and basic tools.

Creating Krang’s creepy but cute face is pretty straightforward, and this is definitely a project you can tackle in an evening. So, if you still don’t have any kind of Halloween costume to wear, this is a good last minute idea.

krang belt buckle

Set yourself apart from other Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans with one amazing belt buckle: Krang! Etsy seller Christopher Genovese’s hand sculpted and painted piece is the sort of accessory that will get noticed. First of all, it’s giant. Second of all, it’s a pink and wrinkly supervillain! Wear it to conventions or rock it as an everyday cosplay option. Pretty soon it will take over your entire wardrobe (and possibly your mind). Any weird looks you receive while donning the fabulous piece are really just jealous stares.

Manufacturing time takes 1-3 weeks, and if you don’t want a giant Krang on your belly, you can order it as a display to hang on your wall.

Check out a couple more beauty shots of the buckle after the break.

Yes, you can be Krang’s exo skeleton as he peeks out and you both plan world domination.

It is not every day that you see someone cosplaying Krang with his android body, and the world is a poorer place for it. RPF user TVsRobLowe submitted this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume for RPF’s Halloween costume contest last year. He chose that character because it was something that fit his body size and it’s something he’s always wanted to do.

He went through some sketches and considered construction material and eventually settled with a combo of spandex and EVA foam to build the costume. Krang was made out of Crayola Model Magic and painted with acrylics (he looks accurate and a little gross).

Nicely done, dude.
