Apparently, even beginner knitters can put together this Nyan Cat hat using some Chunky Mochi Rainbow yarn, Rowan Drift yarn for the cat, Knit Picks Palette for the toaster pastries, size 10.5 and size 2 needles and the $5 pattern featured on Geek’s Dream Girl.

Etsy seller MyAlterknits is responsible for this awesome, handmade 11th Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver scarf as well as the 10th Doctor version pictured after the break. Both have already sold, but I’m sure she would accept custom orders for the right price.

All other hats are dead to me now.

Stay warm with Star Wars this winter thanks to Enchanted Craft’s knitted R2-D2 fingerless gloves and matching beanie.

Etsy seller Becca Stundel sent us word about her magnificently nerdy knitted Vulcan hat. She describes it thusly:
“You know what would rock? A SPOCK TOUQUE! Like, it would be black, and cut right across your forehead (like his bangs) and his skintone ears would be the part that covers YOUR ears!â€
And from that simple request was born “Live Long and Keep Warm”– a hat to transform you (or a friend!) into a perfectly logical being. One size fits most adults, the hat is fairly stretchy and designed to hug the head like a wig.
If you would like to get your hands on one of these hats, it will set you back $30 on the FiveCornersDesign Etsy store.

These R2-D2 sweaters from Etsy seller EricaKnit are custom made from 100% merino wool to your specifications. Though for $450 a pop, I would have expected a suit of armor made out of the real Artoo.

If you want your head look like a giant cupcake, prepare to hear that as a lame pickup line at least once.
