Am I alone in saying that I kind of want one of the book sweaters featured in this parody informercial hosted by Gravity Falls‘ Kristen Schaal and Jason Ritter? They appear to be custom sized for Gravity Falls: Journal 3, but they should make them in a wide array of sizes—and don’t forget plus! My Brandon Sanderson collection gets chilly. Officially licensed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Star-Lord and Gamora jackets are now available to pre-order, and the designs look like something that you might feel comfortable wearing outside of cosplay. Check out the Gamora version below. [click to continue…]
Anovos has unveiled their Han Solo replica jacket from The Force Awakens. If you’re familiar with Anovos, you’ll know that they specialize in screen-ready costumes—particularly for Star Wars fans. This jacket is a prime example. It was created using references from original screen-used jacket, and it’s made of genuine leather with a satin lining. All of this accuracy amounts to a $500 price tag. [click to continue…]
Google and Levi’s revealed at SXSW that the “Commuter” smart jacket first teased at Google I/O last year will be available starting this fall for $350 in both men’s and women’s sizes. If you are unfamiliar, the jacket is made with Google ATAP’s Project Jacquard technology, allowing the wearer to control their smartphone (you’ll want and Android device for this) by simply touching their jacket sleeve. You can check out a demo video below to get a better idea about the jacket’s capabilities. It features a ballsy dude riding a bike while not wearing a helmet and dismissing a call from his boss. He also locks his bike up like an idiot at the end. [click to continue…]

Keep warm on trips to Endor, or elsewhere in the galaxy, with this cardigan featuring two of the moon’s diminutive inhabitants. Two embroidered Ewoks make this Star Wars sweater a fashion force to be reckoned with.

UK-based Prophecy Girl has teased some of their upcoming Star Wars-inspired jacket designs and I just love that they’re focused on Queen Amidala and Bazine Netal. You just don’t see enough fashions based on characters like this.
The designs are in the test printing stage at the moment, but here’s hoping that a final product (and more designs) are released in the near future. [click to continue…]
This one-of-a-kind Lego Batman jacket was recently worn by DC President Diane Nelson to the Lego Batman Movie premiere. It was made using 10,000 bricks by Nathan Sawaya, the same Lego master that created a similar Ashoka Tano dress for Ashley Eckstein at SDCC last year. Granted, an actual fabric jacket was used as the base because a jacket made ENTIRELY out of Lego would be ridiculous (and hilarious) to wear. [click to continue…]
