It’s a little known fact that cats love wearing tiny hats. They only put up a fight when you try to dress them up to play hard to get. Keep that in mind and then go buy these tiny Super Mario Bros. hats for your furry friends. If your cats are named Mario and Luigi, it’s just meant to be.
Check out the Luigi version after the break.

I predict squid hats (particularly of the the zombie variety) will be the hot fashion trend this year. All of the celebs will be wearing them.
This gem is part of a vast squid hat collection in Josh Freeman’s Etsy store. Check it out in the link below.

Etsy seller Becca Stundel sent us word about her magnificently nerdy knitted Vulcan hat. She describes it thusly:
“You know what would rock? A SPOCK TOUQUE! Like, it would be black, and cut right across your forehead (like his bangs) and his skintone ears would be the part that covers YOUR ears!â€
And from that simple request was born “Live Long and Keep Warm”– a hat to transform you (or a friend!) into a perfectly logical being. One size fits most adults, the hat is fairly stretchy and designed to hug the head like a wig.
If you would like to get your hands on one of these hats, it will set you back $30 on the FiveCornersDesign Etsy store.

Who cares if the winter is over and its getting hot outside? Go head and wear these Goomba and Boo Ghost laplander hats to the freakin’ beach!

Leaving tags on a hat is douchy, but at least it implies that you have enough money to purchase new hats on a whim. Security! On the other hand, implies that you are a not-so bad ass hat thief that doesn’t have $20 in disposable income.
So, at first glance, the true message you want to convey is lost—the message that you are actually rich enough to spend $550-$700 on something as stupid as a gold-plated, diamond studded security pin.

If your ultimate goal is to look like a video game or movie addicted trucker from 1985, these new, yet seriously outdated hats can make it happen. After all, who can resist Gizmo blowing snot on fine foam headwear? You can also choose from a variety of NES designs that combine 1980′s 8-bit technology with the unfathomable coolness of early 90′s fashion. Add these into your rotation of neon colored clothes and oversized birth control sunglasses and you too can look like you just walked off the set of the first “3 Ninjas” film.
These hats are supposed to be available starting today, but as of this writing I was unable to find them among the rest of the retro threads.
