glow in the dark

I’ve never really gotten the whole glowing-dead-Jedi thing. What are the rules? I’m betting these shirts fit in somewhere because they both glow-in-the dark. That’s right. You can choose to wear Darth Vader with a glowing TIE and Imperial symbol on the back or Luke with glowing stars and Star Wars logo. All you have to do is decide which of these shirts you want the most, and you’re guaranteed to glow, Jedi Order be darned.

See the backs of these shirts after the jump…

If you’re an opinionated vampire who wants to share a message, this interactive “Lazer” t-shirt is for you. Using an ultraviolet lazer (included), you can draw or write anything you wish on the shirt, and when you step into the darkness, your creation will glow for all to see. Over time, the writing on the shirt will fade, and you can start the process all over again.

ArtificeClothing has a TRON-inspired ensemble on Etsy that will make any guy’s jaw drop. Plus, after about 10 minutes of bright light exposure, the dress will glow. An hours worth of charging should net you around 12 hours of light.

If you think you can wear something like this, be warned—the whole ensemble doesn’t come cheap. The corset alone will set you back $109.

Behold, the official shirt of DEF CON 19—the world’s preeminent event for hackers. The Electronic Frontier Foundation solicited the help of charitable art project Robots and Monsters to create the special shirt.

As you can see in the image above, secret codes glow in the dark when the shirt is worn in darkness. It also reveals hidden messages when placed under a black light.

Unfortunately, you’ll actually have to attend the event in Las Vegas to get your hands on one. The show starts tomorrow August 4th and runs through the 7th.

These aliens are invading your shirt, and they cut through the dark with a soothing, pixelated glow while doing so. Either that, or something is seriously wrong with your tap water.

Everyone loved the original Tron hoodie, and now you have the option of picking up a glow-in-the-dark Sark version as well.

Sure, the summer is almost here for many of us, but who can wait until the fall? It’s hot as hell but I would wear this sheeeit right now.

Hopefully “They Are Here” will be corrected to “They’re Here” before this concept Threadless shirt goes to print, but the glow-in-the-dark Poltergeist idea is fantastic. If you want one for yourself, make sure to vote it up.
