Prop maker Steven K. Smith has designed an absolutely stunning Level 3 suit from Dead Space. He hasn’t missed a single detail, and the glowing lights in the helmet make it look like it jumped right out of the game into the real world.

I know helmets are bound to get scratched up in an effort to protect your head, but this one by Xtreme Kreations looks so good I’d be afraid to actually wear the thing. It’s a custom made Dead Space helmet with painted blue light effects and it’s so shiny it could blind passersby. I think I’d just leave this on display.

There are cool Dead Space tattoos, and then there are ones with a double-headed necromorph. This ink belongs to Triangular Vision and though having reanimated corpses on my skin would freak me out, she makes it work.

Really, when an image of a cosplayer requires a tag noting that it is not a screenshot, you know they’ve managed to do something amazing. French cosplayer Kevin is cosplaying as Isaac Clarke while his friend Léa is donning her Ellie Langford costume. They both look so real in some of these pictures that you’d swear you were looking at an in-game shot from Dead Space. Kevin’s costume has even been recognized by the people who created the game over at EA who’ve had him do some promotional work. It’s just that good.
