Kids come up with the darnedest crossovers.

Jeremy Marbler constructed this awesome cosplay costume for his six-year old daughter when she wanted to celebrate her favorite fandoms at once. Combining My Little Pony with Doctor Who, this awesome Rainbow Dash Dalek is adorable in a terrifying way. He notes:

My six year old daughter wanted another Doctor Who themed costume after her recent K9 cosplay and she picked a Dalek.  As I was sketching the design, she was playing and yelled out “a My Little Pony Dalek!”

After shaking my head, I asked “A Rainbow Dash Dalek?”

“Yes!” she giggled…  And then looked at me seriously and said “It’s gotta have wings.”

“Wings…  So it’s twenty percent cooler?”

Keep the sun at bay with these Doctor Who-themed floppy hats by Geeky U. You can choose from the TARDIS with a lovely bow tie accent at the back or an uncharacteristically cheerful Dalek version. Both are handmade and one size fits most.

The last time we featured one of these adorable charm necklaces by The Gorgonist, the Cosplay Girls were dressed as the Death Star and the Millennium Falcon. This time around, they battle as the TARDIS and a Dalek and it’s just as cute.

The charms are both 1.5 inches, and the necklaces are between 15-18 inches, but you can request different sizes as needed. She’s got a lot of cuteness going on in her shop, so it’s definitely worth a look.

dalek dresses

We’ve seen plenty of Dalek dresses over the years, but nothing like this version from Etsy seller Kaotichandbag. It’s not what you would call subtle.

It’s available in both black and gold versions.

goodwill dalek dress

I don’t know about you, but I already feel like I scored a deal when I find clothes at a thrift shop that are in my size, perfect for my needs and less than 10 bucks, so I can’t even imagine the amount of happiness Reddit user Sarkany_Gyongyi must have felt when she found this home made Dalek dress in her size for 8 dollars.

Granted, it could be a really clever way for a Dalek to disguise itself for an invasion, but at that price, I think it’s worth the risk.

dalek nails 1

You don’t have to take on the challenge of painting miniature art onto your fingernails, you can just buy pre-made ones. Etsy seller Gingerdead House offers some hand-painted press-on nails that will transform your fingers into tiny Daleks. You can put them on and wave your hands around while threatening to exterminate everyone, but it only counts if you use your best Dalek voice.

Here’s a mashup of two characters from the same world. Cosplayer Bewitched Raven has designed an absolutely beautiful dress that’s a Dalek on one side and the TARDIS on the other side. The myriad details, like the single door handle on the TARDIS side of things, are just perfect.
