I’ve spent more than my fair share of time creating costumes for my kids. It always seems like a great idea. I was a Girl Scout. I have a sewing badge so surely I can make costumes at least as cool as the ones in stores, right? Yeah, it never happens like that and, after watching this ad for Avengers costumes now available at Target, I’m retiring my sewing badge for good. I’m a little jealous of Thor, though. Check out those long luscious locks of his. I want that hair.

I’ve seen a lot of geek onesies on Etsy and even commercial sites. Though many have been cute and/or clever, these designs by Mike Vasquez are easily my favorites. Sure, it might be because they are mostly Star Wars graphics but it’s more that I’ve not seen any onesies quite like it. I mean, I want these designs made into adult t-shirts!
He started a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to start making his first series. He’s made his goal, but it’s best to back the project if you’re interested because you’re basically pre-ordering.
