Tauntr designed some Converse Chuck Taylors based on three of the most kick ass shows on television. I only wish they were available for sale…and that there was a Mr. Belvedere version.

Street Fighter meet Chuck Taylor. Maya Pixelskaya takes mundane shoes to complete and fantastic nerdom with this paint job. One shoe features Chun Li, and the other displays Ryu. It takes the dedication of a geek to hand-paint shoes with this level of detail.

Over the last couple of months we have delivered news out of Japan regarding a series of Converse Chucks celebrating the 25th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros. As you might expect, they have proven to be quite popular—but getting your hands on a pair in the US seemed unlikely.
However, the good news is that JBox is now taking pre-orders for the first two black and white pairs. Granted, they aren’t cheap at $130, but we are willing to bet that there are quite a few people out there willing to pay a little extra for these. Hopefully, the other two pairs will available for pre-order down the line as well.

Of course, these awesome hand-knit Mega Man Chucks won’t come cheap.
These are new Converse high tops. Megaman appears on the outside of each shoe. The uppers are hand knit in 100% superwash wool and are hand-stitched to the canvas shoes. The shoes sport the classic white sole and black tongue.
These shoes can be custom made in any size.

I doubt that Kurt would be thrilled with (what appears to be) Courtney Love pimping out his memory on a pair of shoes—but like it or not, Nirvana fans can now pick up high and low top Chuck Taylors that feature doodles and passages from his personal notebook.
