This streamlined backpack from The North Face features a clean, durable nylon shell design, plus it has pockets inside for your MacBook, iPhone, iPod and iPad. Sadly, the Japanese got these first, so we will have to wait our turn. Looks like it will be worth waiting for.

Only $35 will buy you not one, but two Super Mario Bros backpacks—one of Mario and one of Yoshi. That’s great if you have more than one kid, unless they fight over who is going to be Mario and who is going to be Yoshi. No problem though, you can still by them individually for $18 when they come back in stock.

If you don’t mind looking like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Solar Panel, these Soular Power backpacks might be just the thing you need to need to keep your gadgets charged on the go. There isn’t much in the way of details just yet, but it appears that the solar panel on the Capsoul backpack above can be removed and the bag itself can be re-configured into a shoulder bag or carrying case.
Neon Green, the company behind the bags, also offers a Piggy Back solar panel that is much smaller and can be attached to any standard backpack.

If you need to carry your laundry as a backpack, then two thoughts immediately come to mind. First, you are waiting way too long between doing loads of laundry. And second, you are carrying it much too far. It’s use for a college student returning home is obvious but for anyone else I think a little change in their washing habits may be in order if they require this.

It appears that the stewardess pictured on this retro picnic travel backpack really despises her job. Either that, or she started the day off with a cup of coffee and a few drops of acid.
