How To Cannibalize Your Wi-Fi Detecting Shirt To Make a Useful Bumper Sticker

The famous Wi-Fi detecting t-shirt from Think Geek is great, but not really as practical as it could be. Obviously, if you could mount the working portion of the shirt onto your car’s dashboard, it would be easier to search for hotspots because you can cover more ground. A Instructables user teaches us how to do just that using little more than some double stick tape and a 12v car adapter.

Although, in his example, the Wi-Fi detector doesn’t really help you so much as it helps the drivers behind you. I suppose you will have to decide whether or not having the world’s nerdiest bumper sticker is more important to you. Personally, I’m not not into helping out the dude tailgating me.
