You’re going to want to get your wallet out for this one. Make sure it’s full.
Geeky clothing has exploded in the last decade or so, as evidenced by the Doctor Who inspired shirt I’m wearing as I type this. Some of this stuff, like my shirt, is distinctly as the lower-end of casual wear – your Target Jurassic Park shirts and dresses from Hot Topic. Some stuff, however, is distinctly high-end fashion, and has the high-end price tag to boot.
Adding to the growing list of high-end items is this range of Star Wars-inspired jackets from Matchless London. The range is a delightful mix of jackets based on items worn in the movies themselves, meaning you can buy Han Solo’s vest, an awesome jacket inspired by Darth Vader’s ensemble, Leia’s Hoth coat, and the kind of leather coat Obi-Wan Kenobi would’ve worn if he’d been a badass cowboy instead of a Jedi Knight.
Not only that, but they offer women’s cuts of several jackets worn by male characters in the films, including Han Solo’s Empire Strikes Back jacket and – no, but yes! – the coat Finn “borrowed” from Poe in The Force Awakens..
Take a closer look at some of the designs below.
As I said, this range isn’t exactly cheap – the prices are mostly in the $1500 range – but good news! They offer free international shipping. That should save you a few bucks. Head on over to Matchless London to see the entire collection.
