If you’ve been to SDCC in the last few years, it’s possible you saw cosplayer Tony Kim running around either at the show or helping people get ready for the con. I’ve known Tony for years, and he’s a passionate and super helpful person and cosplayer.
He’s also has a great eye for style, so it didn’t surprise me in the least when he announced his new, officially licensed Hero Within clothing line, which he describes as a fashion brand that blends sophisticated style with pop culture.
Instead of logos or screen prints, each item is crafted with the character in mind but can still be worn in an everyday business environment. It’s a way to wear your favorite superheroes and still be super stylish.
Currently, the Hero Within line only has men’s apparel, but knowing Tony, I’m thinking us ladies will see some cool stuff down the road.
Additionally, a percentage of the proceeds from every sale will go to help buy inspirational comic books for foster kids 6-18 yrs of age to help them discover their own heroes within.
Stylish and helps kids? I’m in.
