Google and Levi’s revealed at SXSW that the “Commuter” smart jacket first teased at Google I/O last year will be available starting this fall for $350 in both men’s and women’s sizes. If you are unfamiliar, the jacket is made with Google ATAP’s Project Jacquard technology, allowing the wearer to control their smartphone (you’ll want and Android device for this) by simply touching their jacket sleeve. You can check out a demo video below to get a better idea about the jacket’s capabilities. It features a ballsy dude riding a bike while not wearing a helmet and dismissing a call from his boss. He also locks his bike up like an idiot at the end.
