This frighteningly realistic cat head was created by a teacher named Housetu Sato and his students at the Japan School of Wool Art. The wearable feline face is made through a process called needle felting which normally produces adorable miniatures, but since this class is actually only school in the world that offers the specialist cat-making curriculum, they decided to go bigger.
Secure in this medium, Sato published a series of books on how to make realistic felt animals. Check out his students modeling their works of art after the break.
