The Whoa Board Turns Your Clothes Into A Touch Sensitive Light Show

With the rather appropriately named Whoa Board, you can transform any electro-luminescient (EL) material into a touch sensor! This open source and Arduino IDE compatible platform can easily be stitched into an item of clothing to make integrated EL paint, panels, tape, or wire touch/movement sensitive.

In other words, you can create a jacket that lights up as you move your arms, or pants that light up as you walk. There are even potential VR applications. Check out the project video below for more details.
