We’re Super Impressed By This Warhammer 40K Costume [Video]

Are you ready to be dazzled by yet another awesome Warhammer 40K costume? We recently featured a Captain Septimus Tancred design and we were blown away by it, and now there’s this equally cool one by Henrik Pilerud. This is a Marine Blood Angels Tactical Sergeant, 7th company, 9th squad costume. Pilerud carefully assembled the armor over four months; he estimated it took 300 hours. It’s about 7 feet tall and weighs 55 pounds. Wow. Getting dressed in the costume isn’t easy either. It takes 15 minutes and he requires help getting in and out of the foam armor.

The quality of the costume is top notch. Just look at all the details with the weathering, the paint, and the little touches. It’s freaking amazing.

Check out a video of the costume in action after the break.
