The Vader Project is an annual event which brings together various artists who unleash their imaginations on 1:1 scale replicas of Darth Vader’s helmet. The project began in 2005, with the first exhibit taking place in 2007. After 4 years of annual events, the Vader Project will finish up this June with a 10 day exhibition in Los Angeles, followed by sale of the helmets at Freeman’s Auction in Philadelphia.
The Los Angeles Preview Exhibition will be open June 12-20 daily from noon to 6pm. The auction is slated to take place at Freeman’s Auction House in Philadelphia on July 10, 2010. This will be preceded by a 5-day exhibition from July 5-9.
