Alvin Garcia Flores was born without an arm and his mom Leticia says that people often look at him and treat him differently than other kids. After this, something tells me that Alvin’s still going to feel different…but in a good way.
Terry Burton, his principal at Gateway Elementary in Omaha, Nebraska saw the story about a young fan who got a 3D-printed bionic Iron Man arm from Limbitless Solutions that was personally delivered by Robert Downey Jr. last year. Burton was inspired to show it to Alvin and, based on his reaction, decided to contact the company.
Fast forward to January 15th when the 501st Legion’s Central Garrison (representing Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota) showed up at Gateway with a present for Alvin.
