It seems like costumers are always competing. If they aren’t pitting their creations and designs against each other in masquerades, they’re trying to one-up last year’s Halloween costume. And one way to get attention from passersby or partygoers is to build your costume with moving parts.
The couple in the above image on the left are obviously riding a roller coaster. Their rigs sway and move just like an actual ride, right down to the shaky part that always happens as you go uphill. It’s impressive.
The costume on the right is all about emulating those inflatable stick people that you see at car dealerships or strip malls; they flail about in the wind and catch your attention. Someone decided to be that stick figure at Brisbane Supernova 2012 because, well, why not?
