Slovak Batman Is The Hero Dunajska Streda Needs

Meet Slovak Batman. No, really. Zoltan Kohari resides in the small town of Dunajska Streda, Slovaka—and he’s a helper. The 26-year-old lives in an abandoned building without water, heat or electricity and puts on a handmade leather Batman suit each day. He patrols his neighborhood and performs voluntary community service. He picks up litter and helps the elderly. If something is odd or beyond his skills, he calls in the police. The general opinion of the town is that sure, he might be a bit nutty, but he’s nice. People trust him.

Why not.
