Gorgeous Sephiroth Cosplay From ‘Final Fantasy VII’

Straight out of Final Fantasy VII into reality, Ferasha Cosplay has achieved a truly stunning Sephiroth cosplay. Inspired by her fangirl crush, Ferasha and her team worked tirelessly to created this magnificent photoshoot. Speaking with Geek x Girls, she explains:

“Sephiroth’s probably the most demanding cosplay I’ve done so far. In terms of physical transformation, it was a pure nightmare: there’s the painful open chest binding so that my girl parts don’t show, specially tailored coat to make my waist wider and hips smaller, platform boots of 22cm to make me appear taller and more menacing, and the wing, dear lord, the wing – damn that designer who thought that only one wing would be an oh so cool idea. I also had to nail the body language and posture (which proved to be even more difficult when all my energy was invested into not standing crooked because of the &%$#!! wing), lower my voice to sound husky and manly, and practice Sephiroth’s trademark glare, scaring little (and not so little) kids at the convention. However, when I appeared on stage and pulled the string hidden under my coat to unfold the wing in all its glory – it opened with a delicious ’whoosh!’ – and when I saw people in the front row staring in awe, almost peeing their pants, I realized that I did truly transform into the One-winged Angel, my biggest fangirl crush from the teenage days. And that – the cheers of the crowd, the intoxicating feeling that you became one with the character you chose to portray – made all the pain worthwhile.”
