In season 3 of the detective show Castle, Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) ended up on the tail of a steampunk society in New York City. In the episode (titled Punked), Castle becomes interested in the genre and ends wearing a fancy, cybernetic arm. It was built by Thomas Willeford, and he’s decided to sell the piece on eBay. He’s been hanging on to it and turning down offers on the arm, but now he wants to sell it in order to fund a new project.
Bidding’s currently at $1,700, and the reserve isn’t met—but there is still two days left. I’m a little surprised Fillion hasn’t just bought it for himself. It seems like it might be his style.
