Paralympian Josh Sundquist lost his leg to cancer when he was a child, but it never stopped him from doing what he wanted to do, especially when it came to sports. Still, he says he used to feel “social discomfort” due to his disability, and one of the ways he battled that was coming up with fun Halloween costumes that really, really worked with his one leg.
We’ve featured him on the blog before, so you may have seen some of his costumes in years past. He started in 2010 with the unfortunate one-legged gingerbread man from Shrek and that gave way to awesome ideas like a flamingo, the leg lamp from A Christmas Story, and even a foosball man.
This year, he’s wearing gold as Lumiere the candelabra from Beauty and the Beast. We think it’s his best costume yet. Compare for yourself with the following images of his previous costumes…
