Today’s $10 t-shirt deal celebrates the awesomely nerdy films of 1985. See if you can pick out all of the references.

I’d cross to the Dark side for a few reasons. One of them is for the sexy outfits, and another one may be because of ladies in those sexy outfits. Who could resist this recruitment campaign?

Photographer Joseph DeMarco has been a fan of Star Wars his entire life. To him, it seemed like the combination of WWII propaganda posters and pin-up girls in Star Wars costumes was overdue. I couldn’t agree more.

See more pin-ups from a galaxy far, far away after the break.

Forget sparkly shoes, I’d rather play dress up with this 1:1 scale X-Wing pilot helmet replica. This prop was digitally scanned from an original helmet in the Lucasfilm archives and matches the helmet Luke Skywalker wore in the Battle of Yavin. The interior’s padded, and it has removable ear cups. It’s like you’re actually supposed to wear it. I’m sure you can try it on a few times, but this replica is mostly for display (it’s definitely not made for the Death Star trench run). It’s also limited to 750 pieces, and you can pre-order now for shipment by the end of the year.

I don’t know who to pick…it seems like everyone in this lineup have horrified me over the years.

I know I’m not alone in my love for FernGully, right? I watched this movie over and over with my sister. When I saw this Crysta costume, I clapped my hands in delight and made an inhuman noise. This girl is the human embodiment of Crysta (who, in case you’ve forgotten, is the fairy protagonist of FernGully). You’ll find a Zak accompanying her in some of the photos. They make me wish there was a live-action version of the film that isn’t Avatar.

Russell Crowe took a break on the set of the Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman movie Man of Steel, and we got photos of him in costume. He’s playing Superman’s alien father Jor-El. Note the “S” on the chest.

Blade Runner is one of those films that never goes away. It has a loyal fan base and for good reason. This fan, who goes by Mr. Webber, took painstaking efforts to create a replica of Rick Deckard’s clothing and props. He found the right shirt, custom made items (such as the holster), and even the Microma watch style used in the film. Everything, down to the right shade of orange in the coat, was taken into consideration. As you can see, the end result is impressive.

See more photos of the costume and props after the break. No Replicant test necessary.

This set photo from The Dark Knight Rises shows Anne Hathaway in the full Catwoman costume, including the ears which were strangely absent in the initial pic. However, it has been noted that this may just be the front piece of her goggles flipped up. Since all these Catwoman costumes look like S&M garb, they should just rename her “The Dominatrix” and present her as a villain who terrorizes Gotham City with whips and chains while forcing everyone to call her “Mistress”.

Check out some additional images after the break (possible spoilers).

The most memorable mustache in Hollywood fought crime, drove a Ferrari, rolled with hordes of beautiful women and stayed popular even after the style fell out of favor and was relegated to the porn industry. For this we pay tribute you… Magnum’s mustache.

Check out the video after the break to see the mustache make a cameo in some of our favorite movies.
