I’m not sure what would spark the inspiration to style a gas mask after an Aperture Science Portal Gun, but it works! Incorporate it into your Portal cosplay or display it in your gas mask collection (people collect everything). If you decide to order one, I’d ask if it’s functional before you try to use it to protect yourself from GLaDOS.

Speaking of buying your own, Two Horns United is taking names for a waiting list. He’ll be fulfilling orders this summer, and the mask will cost $280.

We’ve all seen people who’ve painted their bodies in the name of cosplay. Usually it’s blue Na’vi or sexy green aliens from Star Trek or maybe even Hulk, but the folks at Australian Body Art Carnivale take things to a whole new level. This year’s theme was “Under the Sea” and it gave us mermaids, fish and tentacled creatures the likes of the ocean has never known.
