The reason: they like to have a nice piece of a thin smooth, pure cotton textile between the jeans and their "boys". ;) So, we've made it with it, and guess what? My partner loves the feeling. No overheatin' mentioned yet... :) @Osservatore,

I am not even sure if I want to know. Our "boys" were placed in a pouch outside the body for a reason: They don't like overheatin'.... Some extra padding for the "boys" would be a rather natural contraceptive by keeping them too hot to produce. It would be a "natural" selection though... I don’t know who the designer was.
