Instructables user “=D” spent a month and a half creating these DIY headphones from LEGO, which have been described as “sturdy enough to be tossed around in a bag”. Apparently the only major problem is sound leakage, but that would be a small price to pay in order hear tunes emanating from your favorite nerd medium.
