Newspaper print laptop bag

If you use a laptop, chances are you won’t be reading a newspaper to get your news, you’ll read it off the net while you sit in a coffee shop with free Wi-Fi nursing a latte for four hours. During that time, you can also enjoy gauging reactions from people as they look at this laptop bag designed to look like a folded newspaper. In this case, if someone looks at it and all the color drains from their face while they mumble a slow “motherf*cker”, that person is probably an egg farmer. If they look and yell “Hallelujah!” chances are they’ve been trying to unload expensive property in the UK. Newsprint is unique to each bag and they are fully lined in black satin.

Show everyone who happens to see you carrying your laptop around that you are a die hard texter. Use the case as a little ice breaker for the other geeks at work or any McDonald’s with free wireless, depending on your current situation.

synth-necktie.jpg

Synth nerds finally have a tie that reflects their personal style. According to the product site:

Built in 1975, the EMS Synthi-E was one of the first traveling synthesizers, strangely foreshadowing the laptop music of today. It was a low cost version of the Synthi-A designed for schools and colleges, the unit was easily transportable as it is housed in a small briefcase and is battery operated.

The tie itself is made from a soft microfiber and the colors can be altered upon request.

computerdiaperbag.jpg

Meant specifically for the Mia Bossi diaper bag, this is an insert that converts your diaper bag into a computer case. Just zipper in the insert and the bag is transformed. The ultimate in multi-tasking. They really don’t specify whether or not you can use it for both purposes at once but you have to know the potential hazards that introduces.

You also know you have the potential to screw up what you last set it up for. Which would be more embarrassing: Showing up to your business meeting with nothing but a stack of Huggies or trying to change the baby and having nothing but a laptop?

recycled-street-sign-briefcase.jpg

Products made from recycled goods often look tacky or junky—but this street sign briefcase by artist Tripp Gregson is certainly an exception. The exterior features imagery from lawfully salvaged traffic signs while the interior comes complete with organizer / file pockets and a laptop compartment. If only I could get my hands on one made from a “Speed Hump” sign.
