Once again, our friend Ginny Di has captured the magic with her cosplay—this time as Sarah in her masquerade gown from Labyrinth.
Ginny made the dress jewelry from scratch (she sewed three wigs together to get that very Sarah hair style).
She shot the pictures and did the photo editing.
She cosplayed both Sarah and Jareth in one of the photos (you can see more of the Jareth cosplay here)
She may have also built the camera with her bare hands, but I don’t have confirmation on that. Check out more pics below. [click to continue…]
Artist Hannah Alexander did a gorgeous set of art nouveau Disney princess illustrations. Enter cosplayer Ginny Di who organized a fantastic group of ladies who created this gorgeous cosplay based on Alexander’s designs.
Ginny says that most of these ladies spent over six months on their costumes. For many of them, this was their first foray into embroidery, beading, gradient dyeing, draping, and custom pattern-making.
Something tells me it won’t be the last. Check out more pics below. [click to continue…]
Pottermore has released the first photos of the cast in character from the Harry Potter and The Cursed Child play. More characters will be revealed in the coming days, but they kicked things off with a bang by featuring Harry, Ginny and Albus Potter as played by Jamie Parker, Poppy Miller and Sam Clemmett respectively.
As you’ll see in the individual characters shots below, the look of each character is pretty fantastic—especially Harry. Plus, Albus Severus is sporting a sweet new Hogwarts robe. [click to continue…]
We’ve featured Ginny DiGuiseppi‘s outstanding cosplay many times in the past, but her latest costume has to be one of my favorites. Ginny brings Disney’s Cinderella to life in this all-new photo set, showing the glimmer of hope that lit Cinderella’s way while she was forced to cook and clean for her selfish step-family.

Multi-talented cosplayer Ginny Di sent us a very timely cosplay music video featuring a cover of “Sally’s Song” from The Nightmare Before Christmas with an ’80s twist. It’s lovely on numerous levels.
As always, Ginny Di made the Sally cosplay by hand. Blake Smith Music created the arrangement, and Josh Pulido of Gyro Studios did the video and the images. Watch it below. [click to continue…]
We already saw some spectacular Pokémon Go cosplay from our friend Ginny Di, and now we have Lyz Brickley doing a great job representing Team Valor.

Cosplayer Ginny Di sent us a tip on her Pokémon Go cosplay with the best title I’ve seen from a tipster yet, “Pokémon Go cosplay (yes, already)”.
To be honest, I’m surprised it took this long considering the game’s insane popularity. It seems like everyone on the planet is playing!
She also asked me to tell you she’s Team Mystic, in case you wanted to know. Check out more pics below. [click to continue…]
And they totally pulled it off. They even won best in show in the costume contest at Denver Comic Con.
In addition to our old pal Ginny Di as Ciri, the cast of characters includes:
Nicole Mangione as Cerys, JessoLaurus Rex as Yennefer and Geralt, AlyCat Cosplay as Kiera Metz, MacGregor Armory as Zoltan, Kayorijadecosplay as Triss, and Josh Randall as Dandelion.

We love Ginny DiGuiseppi’s stellar cosplays. In addition to her elite Arya Stark, she’s done everything from Jareth the Goblin Queen to Ellie from The Last Of Us.
Well, Ginny’s back as Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. More specifically, as Belle in her winter garb from the “Something There” scene. As you can see, she really nailed it—right down to the bird.
