I think the battle Indiana Jones has against the communists is one reason people enjoy the movie. It is the fight of good against evil, the small versus the mighty. And of course Indy prevails. All i can say is that seeing someone wearing these in real life would immediately strike me as very odd. These Chooka Tattoo Boots feature classic tattoo imagery without all of the pain and permanence of the real thing.
They keep you warm in the winter and give you a unique look in the summer. I won’t say that unique is necessarily good, especially in this case. Maybe the fake lace design would look cute on a child, but on an adult I imagine it is more of a rebellion against aging. And not a particularly good looking one.
